Copper rollers on the bars provide a delay in the action of the bit and allows the horse a chance to get off of the bit without being scared. Also part of this bit design is the ball hinge which is extremely smooth operating and pinchless. The bit is finished in antique brown on the shanks, silver filagree overlay, and stainless steel ball hinges.
