Here is an extremely popular bit made by Kerry Kelley. The bit has short swept back shanks. The mouthpiece is a correction with ball hinges at the port and where the copper clad bars connect to the cheek pieces. This would be a good bit for the horse ready to graduate into such a mouthpiece with the short shanks. Most top reiners have at least a couple of these bits in their tack room. Also, this bit comes complete with one ear harness leather headstall, 1/2" harness leather reins, and big link curb chain. Note that this same bit is offered with silver on the shanks.
